Ok here is an illustration designed for lower left corner of a left facing page. I like the initial design of it. My question is do you think it is to 'rough' should I clean it up and add more detail.

    I like it. I read a lot of books as a teacher, and children prefer pictures that are not too detailed because it is closer to what they could do. I love the motion that you can see in this picture.

    I believe that the whole composition needs to be slightly cut on the right side. There is a bit too much empty space especially in proportion of the massive neck of the horse vs his chest.
