Let me first say I am once again fascinated by your drawing. perhaps it is a sense of Imago Ignota that draws me in. There is a deeper mystery contained in these. I am puzzled and I like this fact. There seems to be a combination of ternary and quaternity. A merging of the spiritual and material. This is enforced by the groove weld symbol at the top center and the mathmatical fences on the east west and south points of the drawing. The efinity symbol sandwiched in between the aquarious symbol or perhaps air symbol holds great puzzlement. The hangers at the bottom and top of the cube triad to the left remind me of headphone symbols? The "male? type symbol in the upper right is so familiar and yet I cannot place it...which is driving me crazy.........This whole piece drives me crazy...and this is why I like it...... Gosh I hope all this makes some sort of sense....
From my prespective, it is about territorial. The cubes represent the powers that links to each other to become stronger and larger. The dots are the future cubes (powers) to be occupy after brilliantly plotting to conquer the territory. By deploying the "D" (deadly devices) which will cause a big blast "B" and the plans will be a success and the territories will be conquer. The attack will come from the North-East side of the land and the number 8 is the symbol of Hate, hatred.... hehehe how about that? Pablo57 :) Sorry if I offend you. I like your drawing, it make me think about the world...
Thanks guys, for the comments. Your comments are more fascinating than the drawing. Jump, Your comments make sense to me and DGitAL, nothing offends me. Both of you are very encouraging. When I’m creating these drawings I am not consciously defining the symbols or the placement of the symbols. It’s more like stream of conscious writing, which has always fascinated me, draw rifting. As I mentioned to Jump, I’m fascinated by multidimensional cubes and have been drawing them since I could pick up a pencil. As I get older the cubes gain more dimensions. I see life as multidimensional arrays of sensory, spiritual, life journeying input and output. The drawings always start as one cube, everything else is another dimension of the cube. This drawing evolved without conscious thought. About halfway thru I thought of it as a hanging sculpture, therefore the hooks to hang it. I also see it hanging, but in motion bouncing up and down. Maybe even rolling down the street, changing shape as it rolled.
Yea, Pablo! I'm so glad you posted this here. I have to agree with what jump said about this piece. There is something intriguing and very interesting about it. I does definitely make me think and I like that, too. :)
