I would say stick with ars...

'artsgraphica' sounds like a stupid name from stupid people who don't know the phrase 'ars gratia artis.' And it sounds dumb, like if you had a site about medical information which referred to things as 'boogers' or 'snot' instead of 'mucus' or whatever.

I dunno if the name has much to do with the traffic. I'm not an expert website promoter by any means... Someday soon I'll get some t-shirts for this site, but I can't until we decide the name! Here is how I am thinking: ars - cool and latin - a close cousin with arse, aka ass - harder to spell over the phone and in conversations - "it's A, R, S graphica.". harder to spell = less memorable arts - not as cool, not as hip, harder to say outloud - easier to spell, easier to remember - no association with ass - I already registered the tradename with the state (didn't for arsgraphica.org)

If you want t-shirts I own a sreenprinting and embroidery shop and do it all in house! Just let me know.

I say Artsgraphica..only because I am a Simple Person who likes things easy to understand and explain. Yeah it is kool to be different , but if you want more traffic it needs to be EASY and SIMPLE..just my cent and a half

Have you thought of using a different name altogether? I've pondered this myself...

but I'm totally open to it.
