When I was little my mom who was very much into art, let me use her oil paints and drawing pencils to entertain myself part of the time.  I've never considered myself to be good at drawing or painting but I do it more for myself to relax then for others.  If someone doesn't like what I produce oh well as long as I'm happy with it.
