Those who know me know I'm not prone to anger, not alot bothers me, and I let things just roll off my shoulder. Why worry? Ain't gunna do any good.... but there are those times that life can get to me; conditions frustrate me... I guess that's called life. But still, there are those times......sometimes

Pen & Ink (Cross hatch)

I recently came across a huge book of Mother Goose stories that my Grandmother read to me and my brothers when we were little.  In doing so, I came across one of my favorites, Beauty and the Beast.  The illustrations are strong and very well thought out, and my favorite was the beast.  I had needed to test my capacity to do cross-hatching since I knew my stipple work was well known and wanted to practice.  So I chose him.

Pretty good for a first try on cross hatching in almost 15 years if I don't say so myself...

Childhood Memeries

MNB House from the old days in Denmark

These old houses bring back sweet memories of my childhood at the Countryside in Jylland and at Bornholm, Denmark, where I spent my summer Hollidays

This is a very old fisher house House from the old days in Denmark

How peaceful it seems. I remember one extremely hot summer night, at my aunts farm. My sister and I could not sleep, because of the heat. We had to skip our bedcovers and do whithout, simply to breathe Maids Chamber from Bornholm

janni2525 published 3/18/08 2:27 PM
I just added my new site on my profile. I have several photographs that explains what I'm doing. Some are where I've lived before NYC. And some are from my present state. Some of the pictures were taken with very inexpensive cameras, but the exposure was great. I have so many more to publish. I will update my online portfolio soon. If you have any questions write to me.

As a little girl that lived near horses and leather on a ranch, I learned very early the beautiful pieces that could be created.

I left the country to the city and 20 years later, have found my love for leather once again.

Catching Air!

"Catchin' Air" is a new work and seems to appeal to a wide range of people. The dolphins, in the distance, are as much a part of the scene as the beach and palms. It's just great "place to go" after a grueling day at work. No worries, Brudah! They're offered in 30x40 & 18x24 Giclee prints on stretched canvas.
